What characterises Poldr Design?
Marc Poldermans: “We are a company that creates and produces interior objects with a distinctive look and feel. Creativity, high-quality service and a problem solving approach are paramount to our company. We can only achieve our goal by building long-term relationships with our partners and customers.”
How did the company originate?
“After years of creating new collections for various (inter)national companies, around the year 2000 I decided to start a company of my own. My designs are inspired by natural shapes and sustainable materials. When you see our objects up close, it becomes immediately apparent that they are hand-made. Artisanal craftsmanship; the new luxury, as far as I’m concerned.”
What makes your collection distinctive?
“The collection is characterised by (partially) oversized items that create a real statement once positioned in your room. Less is more, certainly in this area. In the manufacturing of our products, we provide custom-made solutions that make us an ideal global partner for designers, stylists and (interior) architects. We believe ETC Design Center Europe provides a good representation of the Dutch interior design world. We are proud to exhibit our products there. We look forward to meeting you!”
