How was MD founded?
MD launched their business in 2002. At first as a commercial agency, but we quickly began purchasing our own collections and transformed into a wholesaler. Together with our suppliers, we are always in search for the most beautiful, high-quality hand-made products. Largely produced in Europe. Quality, flexibility, exclusivity and above all: the right atmosphere for the right product. Those are the most important characteristics of the activities and products of MD.
What characterises MD’s style?
MD supplies ceramics, glass products, candles and various other home accessories in the middle and higher market segments from distinguished flower, interior and homeware stores.
Since 2009 we have been the distributor of the entire Dekocandle range in the Netherlands. The products can be beautifully combined in every style. Our diversity of hardware ensures a mix of structures and colours.
What makes MD unique?
MD is a small company and stands for quality, service and innovation. We work in a small team, making our contact with customers very personal. Together we create new products and maintain contact with (new) suppliers. Mariska is our regular point of contact in Culemborg on Mondays.
How did MD end up at ETC Design Center Europe?
In addition to being a wholesaler, MD is also an initiator and organiser of MAD! Events. This this an annual events for florists and interior design stores in the middle and higher market segment. (www.mad-events.nl) Visitors can become familiarised with a variety of innovative products that all complement each other. At an inspiring location and in a relaxed atmosphere, suppliers and importers present their exclusive brands and latest collections. In addition, there’s also the opportunity to catch up with colleagues while enjoying snacks and drinks.
