After the college for Woodworking and Furniture in Amsterdam (1999), I worked for an upholstery company for a number of years. There, I was introduced to some of the most beautiful fabrics, leather and passementerie. That is where my love for this craft started.
After my work at Firma Brugman (2001/2015), a well-known agent for several textile and furniture brands, I started Fabric Brokers in 2006. At first to facilitate special fabric productions, later I also started doing project management/engineering in yacht building and started representing a number of brands.
Since January 2018, I have been lucky enough to be able to expand our selection of fabrics and open a stand at the ETC Design Center. At the ETC, I will be representing some of the best textile and leather manufacturers. They offer elegant and stylish designs for both residential interiors and exteriors as contract projects.
