Berendsen Collection has been around for over 50 years. On June 1, 1964, Frans Berendsen started the production of high-quality upholstered furniture.
After several relocations, Berendsen ended up on the Einsteinstraat in Lichtenvoorde. With a new building, the company is expected to be set for several decades. The demand for contemporary furniture continues to grow and grow. There is also a need for a showroom at this time. In 1990, a new hall was installed. As a result, Berendsen Collection could grow further and take advantage of its showroom located near the factory.
In 1997, Sharon and Ronald Elschot start to work for the company. Together with them, the company’s collection and capacity is expanded even further.
In the building in Lichtenvoorde Berendsen focuses fully on tailor-made designs and the production of contemporary furniture. In order to do this as efficiently as possible, the decision was made not to establish a showroom here. Berendsen Collection presents its (latest) models at ETC Design Center Europe in Culemborg.
